Using data to enact change: How a NIC of teachers worked to improve graduation rates

In the 2019-2020 school year, the Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Midwest facilitated a collaborative research partnership called a Networked Improvement Community, or NIC. This REL Midwest video shares teachers’, administrators’, and students’ experiences going through a continuous improvement cycle as part of the NIC. This NIC included teachers and administrators from Alternative Learning Programs in Minnesota. The video also provides information about the impact the continuous improvement approach can have on improving credit recovery strategies and student completion of credit recovery to ultimately improve high school graduation rates.
